These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern all bookings, stays and use of the services offered by Yekhao Resort and Samkhey Homestay, located at Kherem, Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh, India. By submitting a booking request or staying with us, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Booking process
- All bookings made through this website are requests and remain in a pending status until confirmed by the property owner.
- A booking is treated as confirmed only after you receive an official confirmation from us (via email or phone) and, where applicable, any advance/token amount has been received.
- We reserve the right to accept, reject or seek clarification on any booking request at our discretion, including where the requested dates conflict with prior confirmed bookings.
2. Check-in & check-out
- Check-in: 12:00 PM (noon) onwards.
- Check-out: 11:00 AM.
- Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and may be chargeable.
- All guests above the age of 18 must present a valid government-issued photo ID at the time of check-in. Foreign nationals must additionally present a valid passport, visa and any permits required for travel to Arunachal Pradesh (such as the Inner Line Permit / Protected Area Permit, as applicable).
3. Guest responsibilities
- Guests are expected to conduct themselves respectfully toward staff, other guests and the local community.
- Smoking is not permitted inside rooms or enclosed common areas. Designated outdoor areas are available.
- The possession, use or supply of illegal substances is strictly prohibited on the property.
- Loud music, disruptive behaviour or activities that disturb other guests or wildlife are not permitted, especially after 10:00 PM.
- Guests are responsible for their personal belongings and valuables at all times.
- Any damage caused to the property, furnishings or fixtures beyond normal wear and tear will be charged to the responsible guest at repair/replacement cost.
- Pets are allowed only with prior written approval from the owner.
- Visitors of registered guests must sign in at reception and are not permitted to stay overnight unless added to the booking.
4. Children & extra guests
- Children are welcome across both properties. Charges for extra beds, meals and occupancy of children above the base age limit are payable as per the current tariff.
- Room occupancy must not exceed the maximum guest count specified for that room category.
5. Meals & services
- Meal inclusions (breakfast, lunch, dinner) will be clearly indicated in your booking confirmation.
- Guided walks, cultural evenings, bonfire arrangements and airport / station pickups are provided as scheduled, and may be adjusted or cancelled due to weather, safety concerns or force majeure events.
6. Liability
- Yekhao Resort and Samkhey Homestay are located in a natural riverside setting. Guests use the river, forest trails, swimming areas and outdoor spaces at their own risk.
- We are not liable for any loss, damage, injury or death arising from participation in outdoor activities, use of natural surroundings, or acts beyond our reasonable control.
- We are not responsible for loss of valuables, cash or electronics left unattended in rooms or public areas.
- Our maximum liability for any claim shall not exceed the total amount paid by the guest for the specific stay in question.
7. Force majeure
We shall not be held liable for any failure or delay in performance due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, floods, landslides, extreme weather, road closures, strikes, government orders, epidemics/pandemics or civil unrest. In such cases, we will make reasonable efforts to reschedule your stay or offer alternate arrangements.
8. Cancellations & refunds
Cancellations, no-shows and refunds are governed by our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
9. Privacy
Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your personal information.
10. Governing law & jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with a booking or stay shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Namsai, Arunachal Pradesh.
